THEORY OF OPERATION

"Big AG" Conceptual

The Dispenser is comprised of a Main Body which stores the granular fertilizer. Attached at the distal end is the Dispensing Head. Closer to the operator is the handle which incorporates a receptacle for the Battery.

By means of the variable speed Gearmotor in conjunction with the Precision Metering Screw, the Dispenser is capable of dispensing an infinitely variable amount of fertilizer regardless of motion of the device

For the first time, by combining new technology with old, a new level of control, precision, and efficiency is realized for the application of granular fertilizer.

This is accomplished by the use of a precision Metering Auger / Screw and advances in battery technology as well as microelectronics.

Because the rate of dispensing is proportional to the RPM of the Metering Auger / Screw, accurate and precise rates of dispensing is realized by coupling the Metering Auger / Screw to a precision Gearmotor.

Furthermore, the ultimate level of control and efficiency is accomplished by the use of the Precision Gearmotor with Encoder and one of many available Microprocessors.

One is now given choices of precise control:

1) Constant rate of dispense via constant speed of the Gearmotor.

2) Variable rate of dispense by means of variable Gearmotor speed via variable Trigger positioning.

3) Constant and selectable rate of dispense via Gearmotor and Precision Metering Auger / Screw in conjunction with the Onboard Processor- One is now able to select the desired rate of dispense (for instants grams per minute) by inputting the desired value into the Controller.

Additionally, the user is able to monitor critical parameters such as total fertilizer applied as well as critical plant nutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphate, and Potash.
